Shari Lacy
Shari is a lifelong fine artist painting from her home studio in Franklin, Tennessee. A loose, expressive painter, her work is defined by rich texture and movement—built through palette knife, brushwork, and layered mixed media. She is drawn to surfaces that feel alive, embracing the spontaneity of the painter’s hand in every piece.
Her creative path began early and evolved into a lifelong practice of making—one rooted in experimentation, intuition, and a love of materials. Texture remains central to her work, adding depth and dimension that invite a closer look.
Shari’s work has been featured on television and in national publications, and she has licensed designs with Kirkland’s and Hobby Lobby. She is a graduate of Miami University’s (Oxford, OH) College of Creative Arts, with a BFA in Graphic Design & Marketing.
While she values these milestones, her greatest joy comes from creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces that connect with people. Art has always been at the core of who she is, and she continues to share it with others through every painting.
