Heather Golinko
Heather Golinko (HEGO) is a Nashville-based ink artist and sculptor whose work explores structure, movement, and the organic systems that connect nature and design. Her practice grew from a professional background in fashion and medicine - first designing for Donna Karan in New York, then working as a surgical physician assistant at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital - disciplines that sharpened her lifelong sensitivity to form, function, and the relationship between precision and flow.
Working with ink on synthetic paper, Heather allows pigment to move freely before shaping it with heat into intricate, sculptural compositions. Mounted on hand-drilled panels, her dimensional works balance control and spontaneity, resulting in pieces that feel both intentional and alive.
